About Us

Home

We are open to boys and girls aged 8 to 10 years.  We are part of the world wide membership of Scouts.  We also have a beaver colony for 6 and 7 year olds and also a scout section  for 11 to 14 years old.

Our aim is to encourage and challenge the children physically and mentally through play and fun activities.

The scouting movement is run by VOLUNTEERS!!! who are dedicated to the well being to the children.

Brief History

The scout group to which we belong started in 1925.  In the year 2000 we celebrated our 75th anniversary.  We carry the name of St Paul's church but we are an open group meaning we are not restricted to members of St Paul's Parish.

Location

We meet in Grange Road Methodist Hall on a Thursday evening from 6pm till 7:30pm.

I promise to do my best,
To do my duty to God and to the Queen,

and to keep the cub scout law,

Cub Law

Think of others before themselves,
And do a good turn every day,
