When Joe goes on his first real business trip for the Ponderosa, he tells a while lie to a cattle buyer who prefers to deal with married men. Joe lets the buyer assume he and his brothers are married to win the contract. This is fine until the buyer decides to bring his wife out to meet the Cartwright 'wives'.
A lighthearted short story that again attempts to capture the comedy elements of the show.
