BDK Entertainment is a record label based outta Louisiana and home of Bushwick Bill, the ex-Geto Boys member. The new compilation album titled "Different Style Organizations" is literally 'different styles' together on one album. The album features the likes of Bushwick Bill, Fiya, Street Scholarz, EJ, Camillion, Nuk Ruk, & more.
1. Do The Damn Thing (f/ Bushwick Bill & DSO)-- this track has an uptempo beat and aims to get ya hype right off the top. Both Bushwick Bill and DSO drop some nice verses on the track and get the album started on a good note.
2. Club Scene (f/ EJ)-- this track has a laid back beat almost reminiscent of some West Coast flavor. EJ raps on this one and he basically drops verses about how he loves how the ladies look at the club. It's an all right track.
3. Monkey Nutz (f/ Street Scholarz)-- this track has a bit of a Memphis feel to it with the hook soundin like something you'd hear from Mista Ian. The track has a nice feel to it and is worth checkin out.
4. Bushmotherfuckingwick (f/ Bushwick Bill)-- this track has a really nice midtempo beat and Bushwick straight kills the mic on one of the hardest songs on the album. It's definitely one of the best songs on the album.
5. Bitch Nigga What The Fuck Hugh (f/ Young Gotti)-- this track doesn't really have that tight of a beat. I'm not sure where Young Gotti is from but he's got a bit of a cross between a Louisiana & Cali sound to him. It's an all right track but not one of my favorites on the album since the only thing that stays with you is the hook.
6. Explicit (f/ Fiya)-- this track has a midtempo, piano laced beat. Fiya basically drops a Louisiana booty shakin club track. Not feelin this one.
7. U Gonna Be My Bitch (f/ Bushwick Bill)-- this track starts off sounding more like a R&B track over some horns and bass guitars. This track is basically a slower track about fuckin and suckin. Bushwick just drops one verse and doesn't come all that tight. It's still a laid back track that you can bump.
8. Pimp Change (f/ MVP's)-- this track has a nice laid back N.O. style beat. The flows are decent with a standout verse from a unnamed rapper who raps in s style similar to Magic from No Limit. This track is worth checkin out.
9. I Ride For My Doggs (f/ Street Scholarz)-- this track has a beat very similar to Ludacris's "Move Bitch" and is just as bumpable. Tight flows throughout the track.
10. In Due Time (f/ Camillion)-- this track has a beat that sounds like something 2Pac would rap over and that's kinda the style that Camillion brings to the table. It's a pretty nice track that's worth givin a listen to.
11. Me Or This Game (f/ Fiya)-- this track has a midtempo beat that kinda has a bit of an island feel to it. It's basically a rap about someone having to make a choice between his woman and the game. Personally, I just couldn't get into this track because it's a little too slow for me.
12. Mustang Sally (f/ Bushwick Bill & DSO)-- this track has more of an uptempo beat than the previous track and it's a lot better too. Bushwick Bill and the DSO all lay down some solid lyrics to make this one of the better tracks on the album.
13. I'm A Playa (That's How I Ride) (f/ MBA)-- this track is just one of those laid back tracks you can sit back and either ride to or kick back and smoke to. MBA brings those smooth verses to you in a style similar to Devin. Definitely a track worth checkin out.
14. Do The Damn Thing (radio edit)
15. Blast (f/ Woftown Committee)-- this track features a rap group from England and it just feels weird to hear British rappers if you haven't heard them before. This track definitely gives the album a diversity that we didn't expect to hear but these cats hold their own but the song just sounds really out of place on an album like this.
16. Mr. Hedbanger (f/ Nuk Ruk)-- this track has a more rock rap feel to it comeplete with the electric guitars and verses giving praise to the Lord. Now this gives the album yet another 360 degree turn with a Christian rap track on it.
17. Take My Breath (f/ Nuk Ruk)-- this track also gives you another chance to check out the Christian rappers. They got some tight flows but I think I'm too shocked to hear them on this album to know what else to say about them.
Overall, I'd definitely say that you get a variety of styles on this compilation ranging from the hardcore flows of Bushwick Bill to Christian rappers Nuk Ruk to British rappers Woftown Committee. But that in itself made us wonder why the last 3 tracks were included on the album because they seemed really out of place. More Bushwick Bill appearances would also have been appreciated because he's still got that raw style from his old Geto Boys days. The production on the album is pretty good throughout and still worth checkin out because overall, it's a nice compilation album.
