Lil Flip drops the anticipated follow-up to the platinum CD, "Undaground Legend" with another double disc effort. The lead single "Game Over (Flip)" has taken the nation by storm helping to build the buzz for the self-proclaimed Freestyle King. The album features Three 6 Mafia, Ludacris, David Banner, Tity Boi, Cam'Ron & The Diplomats, Pastor Troy, Killer Mike, Baby D, Grafh, Will Lean, & more.

Disc 1

1. I Came To Bring The Pain (f/ Ludacris, Tity Boi, & Static)-- this track starts off with a melodic piano intro along with a Method Man sample. The hook goes "I came to bring the pain nigga/and I came to bust them thangs niggas/the 9'll rearrange your frame nigga/you scared nigga/you scared nigga". Flip and Ludacris come correct on the track but Tity Boi also drops a standout verse in my opinion. Very tight track.

2. The Ghetto-- Diplomat producers The Heatmakerz use a sped up sample for this track giving the beat an East Coast feel. Lil Flip rides the beat well while layin down verses about what goes down in the hood. It's a pretty short track.

3. Bounce-- this track has a midtempo beat that kinda reminds me of the beat from Chingy's "Holidae Inn". Flip drops a few verses about flossin. The hook "bounce for you click/bounce for yo hood/throw it up/hold it up/pour it up" should have ya bouncin in the clubs which is probably what Flip expects when it is released as a commercial single later on this year. Decent club track.

4. All I Know (f/ Cam'Ron)-- the Houston-Harlem connection hooks up again for this track. I ain't the biggest fan of Killa Cam's rap style but if you enjoy him, you'll feel this track. Lil Flip raps about his music, his cars, and street life. Definitely Flip outshines Cam'Ron on the track mainly because Cam hasn't mastered the art of riding a Southern beat yet. Nice track nonetheless.

5. Game Over (Flip)-- now unless you've been in the foxhole with Sadaam Hussein the last year, I'm sure that you've heard the hypnotic Pac Man beat for Lil Flip's first single. There's probably not one person who has heard the song that doesn't end up sayin "Flip, Flip, Flip...." along with the hook. In other words, it's a catchy ass single which means it accomplished what it was supposed to do.

6. Sun Don't Shine-- this track has a old school 70's band feel on the beat. Lil Flip drops a few verses about how he's gotta make that paper by spitting these rhymes because he can't stay in the hood forever. Not feelin the beat too much but Flip is able to pull the track off nonetheless.

7. Represent (f/ Three 6 Mafia & David Banner)-- this track has that patented DJ Paul & Juicy J hard hittin beat with the chants in the background. Lil Flip starts it off with a nice verse while reppin for H-Town and Cloverland. Banner is up next and unleashes his fury on the mic while addressing the racism that haunts Mississippi forever. DJ Paul & Juicy J finish the track out with rhymes about robbin niggas down in the M-Town. Each rapper lays down a separate hook depending on which city they're reppin. Very tight collabo here.

8. Rags 2 Riches (f/ Will Lean)-- this track has a laid back beat with horns over a deep bassline. The feel of the track seems like it was ripped straight from Flips last album "Undaground Legend". Lil Flip and fellow Clover G'z artist Will Lean trade bars about how they came up from rags to riches to run the rap game. Nice track.

9. Ain't No Party-- this track is a feel good party anthem that I could see as a single down the road. "Ain't no party like a Lil Flip party cause a Lil Flip party don't stop/I know I paid 300 for this car I drive/and I still don't use the top/now put your hands up/put your hands up". Probably won't miss anything if you skip this one. It's my least favorite track on the album.

10. Check (Let's Ride)-- this track has a nice acoustic guitar laced beat. Lil Flip does a nice job on the mic droppin verses about how he's gaining respect in the music world but at the same time, he still got that respect in the streets. Very nice track.

11. Dem Boyz-- this track has a shuffling beat that will make ya bob ya head along. Lil Flip drops a few verses about the different colored diamonds in his chain and watch and how it don't matter how much that shit cost. Not feelin this track too much.

12. Sunshine (f/ Lea)-- this track has a laid back R&B feel on the guitar laced beat. This track has commercial single written all over it. Lil Flip raps about what type of girl he likes the best while Lea sings the hook like an old pro. It's an alright track if you're feelin those type of tracks--the ladies should eat this one up though.

Disc 2

1. Ya'll Don't Want It (f/ Diplomats)-- this track has a comin to take yo azz out beat while Flip chants the hook "ya'll don't want it with us (Clover G'z)...(Dip Set)". Cam'Ron's Dip Set crew come thru with another collabo and do a decent job holding the track down. Nice song.

2. We Ain't Playin (f/ Pastor Troy, Baby D, & Killer Mike)-- this track has a hard ass hitting laid back beat that seems like it was recycled from a previous Oomp Camp CD. From Lil Flip to the each rapper in the ATL crew, each do a good job layin down some hard verses with Killer Mike being the standout artist. Bumpin track.

3. U Never Know (f/ Butch Cassidy)-- this track has a laid back funkadelic beat and features Snoop Dogg's old hookman, Butch Cassidy. The track is about how you never know if someone else is fuckin your bitch behind your back. Not feelin this one too much.

4. Throw Yo Hood Up-- this track has a laid back bass guitar and sleigh bell beat. This is another hood anthem song about throwin yo sets up. Probably could have been better but it's a skippable track.

5. Drugs (screwed)-- this track has an electric guitar rock-and-roll beat. Flip raps about how he and his concerts are like addictive like crack because the fans gotta have him. Nice track even screwed.

6. Where I'm From (f/ Grafh, Gravy, & Will Lean)-- this track features one of the East Coast's top underground rappers in Grafh and he doesn't disappoint with a nice verse. Lil Flip, Graph, Gravy, and Will Lean lay down verses describing the grimey life down in the hood. Very nice track.

7. Dem Boyz Remix (screwed)

8. What's My Name-- this track has a Middle Eastern feel on the beat. The hook goes "They call him Lil Flip" while Flip basically names off all his accomplishments such as goin platinum off one video. Lil Flip also raps about how he got started in the rap game. Decent track worth checkin out.

9. Ain't No Nigga (f/ David Banner)-- the album ends with a collabo with Mississippi's David Banner who helped put Flip on the map nationally on his hit single "Like A Pimp". "Ain't no nigga like a H-Town nigga cause the rest of ya'll niggas ain't shit/ain't no nigga Mississippi nigga cause the rest of ya'll can eat a dick". This is one that will just have ya crunk and wildin out at the club ready to buss a nigga in the head. Good track to end the album off with.

Overall, Lil Flip brought a wide variety of producers to the table, from local Texas producers Play-N-Skillz to DJ Paul & Juicy J to Red Spyda to the Heatmakers, and the list goes on and on. All of that combined to give the album a more diverse feel which may take the loyal Lil Flip fans out of their comfort zone a bit because the beats aren't necessarily the bass pounding Southern beats we are used to hearing. The album is a decent pickup but the ones who have followed Lil Flip's career from the days on the underground may leave with an empty feeling after listening to the album. But for the fans who are new to Lil Flip, you'll feel the album.
