This is Silkk The Shocker's first album since 2001's "My World, My Way". After that album, everyone completely thought that No Limit Records had fallen off. In 2003, No Limit released Magic and Choppa's CDs which both went double plastic. 2003 was also the year that everyone left No Limit. C-Murder went to prison, and Lil Romeo started working on the TV show. Now in 2004, it seems that No Limit is trying to make a comeback. After the certified gold double album "Good Side Bad Side" album by Master P, it is now time for Silkk to make a return. From the sound of the single "We Like Dem Girlz", it seems that they are back. This album features apperances from Petey Pablo, Master P, Currensy, and Pop.

1. We Like Them Girls (f/Petey Pablo and Master P)-- When I first heard this beat, I thought that Lil Jon had made it. Nope, Myke Disel did it. This is the second time his beat sounded like The King of Crunk, the first was, "Dem Jeans" by Master P. Anyway back to the song, all I can say is that it's HOT. Everyone comes off tight. The only downfall is the short verse by Petey Pablo.

2. Got It On Lock (f/ Pop & Master P)--Silkk starts off talkin about how he's back. Pop starts off with the chorus," My whole click full of thugs we got it on lockdown". Silkk kills this beat. This song brings back memories of No Limit's glory days. Pop seems to rap just like Currensy. Everything that they say is a punchline. He says, "I drop haters like a lac with the roof gon', and walk on em like crips do to a Snoop song." P's verse is aight. He again makes a refernce to 2Pac in his song. Overall hot song.

3. We Don't Dance We Bounce (f/ Master P)-- "We don't dance, we bounce," Master P says on the chorus. The beat is pretty cool. Silkk says on things that makes you nod your head. He says, "I tell a nigga fresh off the back, I'm a skinny nigga, I ain't good with lifting weights, but I can lift up a gat, lift up yo hat, this ain't just rap, This not speculation, my nigga, look, this is a fact." That is the best rhyme Silkk has ever made. P kills the song. They both ride the beat perfectly. Hot Track. One of my favorites.

4. Just Do It (f/ Currensy)-- Weak beat. Silkk sounds like he got bored while recording this song. Currensy' was OK. Skip this song.

5. Why You So Mad-- The beat sounds cheap. Silkk comes pretty good. He said,"You wanna mug and give me a screw face well I'll make you catch a slug that'll slow you down like a screw tape." Good Song.

6. We Like Dem Girls (f/ Master P)-- Same song as the remix except without Petey Pablo. Hot song. Great for the clubs.

7. Playa Playa-- Hard beat. Lyrics on point. There is nothin wrong with this song. "If you don't give a fuck, we don't give a fuck PLAYA PLAYA". All I can say is that this song is hot. Needs more bass. Listen carefully when the beat breaks down. Silkk kills this song. Hope there is a video to it. HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT...Great Beat Myke Disel.

8. Holla (skit)-- Silkk talkin to his girl which leads to the next song.

9. Be There-- The first song on the album that is not produced Myke Disel. XL who produced the song samples the song "True". This song is dedicated to the ladies. Great chorus. The song is talkin about how he cares for his girl. Good song.

10. That's Just Me-- Great song. Silkk is talking about how people are hatin on him. Typical No Limit song. There is some scratching in the background.

11. Hey You-- Horrible beat. It sounds messy. Lyrics are good. The only thing that is wrong with the song is the beat. OK track.

12. Do The Thing-- Sounds like a beat that you hear on the second line in New Orleans. Tight song.

13. Get That-- Myke Disel made this great West Coast beat. You need to listen to this song while in your car on a sunny day. great song. The only problem is that the song is 6 minutes long. Too long. Great song.

14. The Hunta(skit)-- About a hunta looking for a crack head.

15. Clap (f/ Master P)-- Tight song. Great beat. This song is talkin about what would he do to people if they mess with him. P is not even on the song.

16. Forgive Me-- Great beat. The best song on the CD. This song is like Silkk's confessions and a prayer to god. Great way to end a CD. You will find yourself repeating this song over and over.

Overall: Great comeback. This CD was tight. There were only about two songs that should have been left off of the cd but that's OK. All I have to say is that No Limit Records is back. Silkk slowed his flow down so that you could understand him. After two great releases in 2004, I can't wait to see what's next. This CD is Silkk's version of "Confessions". Great production by Myke Disel. If you don't have it yet, go get it. You wont be dissapointed.
