Throwed Off Boyz (TOB) release the debut album from SouthMade Records. They hail outta Shreveport, Louisiana, and release a pretty impressive album. Throwed Off consists of Jonni Bo, Mizta Freeze, Snakeyez, Dub Sac, & Fiyah.

Many people have typecast all Louisiana rap as the "No Limit" or "Cash Money" sounds and this album is anything but. Trust me, that is a good thing. There really is no one sound or area that you can group TOB with other than Dirty South. Each member of the group brings a different style to the mic and this gives the album a nice flow to it.

There really are no bad songs on this album but one of my favorites has to be the first single "Escalades". I really think TOB could really do things if radio would give this song some radio airplay. Another standout song is "If I Ride"--both tight lyrics and beats.

Overall, this album is worth pickin up if you are sick of the commercial rap and songs with lyrics about cars, jewelry, bling-bling, etc. I was pretty impressed with almost every song on this debut.
