Grizzlor is Hordak's hairy henchman of ruthless strength.

Grizzlor is yet another Hordesman whose origin is completely unknown. Like Scorpia, Mantenna
and Leech, Hordak's comment about 'Horde science and magic' transforming his warriors into
universally powerful beings applies to Grizzlor as well [46], leaving us only to make assumptions
as to where he came from

Although he wasn't part of the Force Squad we saw on our first trip to Etheria [01], after Adora left,
he was officially a member of Catra's crew. [33, 46, 78] Having pointed that out, it ought also to be
made clear that Grizzlor was rarely a help to the Horde, especially after the early episodes which
depicted him as a strong villain. [02, 07, 15] After that, he was much more of a burden, goofing
up at virtually every assignment given to him. He comes second in line, after Mantenna, in the
Horde Hall of Shame.

However, whereas Mantenna was picked on simply for the amusement of Hordak, Grizzlor's
ridiclule had a purpose. He was outrageously unintelligent, giving Hordak the second
most-perfect candidate for the trap-door treatment. [21, 53, 78]

Grizzlor's duties to the Horde, as previously stated, are somewhat limiting. Perhaps this is the
reason he seems to be based at Beast Island a number of times [02, 10, 57], as commander of the
Horde Prison there and therefore fulfilling a relatively suitable role for the character.

Grizzlor is seemingly none too keen on Mantenna [38], but this is of mutual agreement.
Another character he (and everyone else) seemed to dislike is Imp, though Grizzlor is the least of
the little pest's worries, as the females of the Horde seem to have the biggest grudges against him.

Finally, and very unexpectedly, Grizzlor is the one character who almost hit the nail on the head
regarding She-Ra's identity... Fortunately, his intelligence-issue disallowed him to put two and two
together. [14]
