Octavia is the Horde-Comander of the sea-port Octopus Cove.

With just two appearances supporting her name, it is surprising to know that such a rare character
actually received some background. Unlike such entites as Dylamug and Spyster, we know that Octavia
is Commander of a Sea-Port in the Sea of Sigh, Etheria's lesser-known ocean. Octavia's debut episode
establishes her as one of the irregular cast, simply by her telling Hordak how good it was to see him again
in a voice provided by the oh-so-talented Melendy Britt. [40]

Her duties at the assumedly busy Octopus Cove do not however, shadow her abilities. In her only confrontation
with She-Ra, she proved more than a match for the Princess of Power, catching her in her tentacles with the
greatest of ease. [40] She also successfully caught Sprocker [83] and Sea Hawk [40], as well as proving to him
that his swash-buckling bravado would be no use against her. Capturing Sea Hawk also leads us to assume
that another power held by Octavia is draining an opponents strength with her tentacles, making her a similar
warrior to Leech - Sea Hawk certainly showed signs of exhaustion after reckoning with Octavia.

The undeniable talents of Octavia are apparently endless, as we also came across the astounding skill her
tentacles possess. Behind her back, she managed to store a couple of Freeze-Sticks, a star-shaped projectile
and four different swords, all of which were revealed and used by her tentacles. [40]

Overall, Octavia isn't as bland as some of the rarer ones, but at the same time doesn't have enough of a
background from her two episodes to be instantly appealing. However, had we seen more of her, it's
undoubtable that such a unique and amusing character would have been a firm favourite of many a She-Ra fan.
