Dave Wins Ocmulgee Porsche Club Autocross!!! Okay, it was only Novice class, but I still got a trophy, dammit. The local PCA chapter cosponsored an autocross with the SCCA guys on Sunday March 18th.  John brought his '03 Vette, I drove the Mustang, and we met up with Ray in his cherry original '94 Mustang vert.  We had a great time tearing up the parking lot of the Centerplex in Macon.  The event was well planned and a LOT of fun.  If you've never tried this, you're missing out.

Autocross works like this:  They set out a course of cones and you have to drive around the course in the fastest time.  There are different classes based on the car, and novice class for anyone who hasn't done it more than 4 times, and hasn't won.  Notice the "N" in my class designation on the car.  Only one car is allowed in an area of the course, so there is minimal danger to people and property.  It's a BLAST.
