Welcome to the homepage of the University
of Minnesota Trombone Section.
This page contains information on our section in general. Please use the links to the left to navigate this website. The 1999 Trombone section consisted of 43 members. To learn about us, see our Section Info. The 2000 Bones section consists of approx. 39 members. We have just completed Spat Camp, so rookie info should be up shortly. We just lost Nipples to the Tuba section, and we lost one of our rookies. For recent news, please scroll down, or look at Past News. We have sound!!! See our Sound page to hear midi versions of our basic cheers, and .WAV clips of us in El Paso, thanks to Doug Hawkins for those clips. The Band plays for all home football games,
an occasional Big 10 away game, local high schools, the state fair, and
most recently, A BOWL GAME! The band played
at the Sun Bowl on Dec. 31, 1999 in
El Paso Texas.
