History
The line of similar asymmetric designs - P.177, P179, P194, BV.237, etc. - is one of the most interesting in the output of the Blohm und Voss company. The P.179 was probably the smallest and lightest one, powered with one BMW.801D engine. A single bomb was to be carried under the nacelle, the armament of two MG.151/20 guns was housed also in the nacelle.
