History
This project of Autumn 1944 is another version of advanced pusher fighter/fighter-bomber
studied by Dornier. A powerful JUMO213 engine combined with swept wing offered an
excellent performance, while free space in the nose allowed to fit heavy armament and
radar (if bad weather/night fighter versions would have been created).
The Do.P.247/6 was to use a wide range of components from Do.335 to save time and effort.
The project never left the drawing board.
