History
One of the attempts to power the manned aircraft with the pulse-jet engine was undertaken by Henschel.
The plane was to be fitted with two Argus-Staurohre As.044 engines developing 500 kp thrust each.
The armament included 2 x MG.151/20 guns and was housed in a special belly compartment called "Waffen-wanne" similar to those used
on Ju-88G and He-219. The wooden scale model of the aircraft was tested in wind tunnel, the further fate of the
project is unknown.
