History
One of the most unusual German jet projects was the
Ju.EF.009 - a little single-seat fighter, powered with
10 engines mounted around the fuselage. Take-off
would be performed from the ground starting ramp,
while landing (after the 6 minutes flight) had to be
made on a belly landing skid. Pilot under the trans-
parant canopy occupied a prone position.
