HISTORY
One of the most outstanding projects of the WWII was this
extra-long range bomber designed to attack the mainland
of the U.S.A., dated 1938-1942. Start was planned from the
special 3 km (1.8 miles) long monorail track assisted with the
captive rocket booster of 600 tons thrust. The main rocket
engine of 100 tons thrust was to boost the speed of the aircraft
to enable it enter the Earth orbit. The atmosphere "skip" effect
was to assist the bomber to reach the other side of the planet
and to perform the strike with one 1000 kg bomb. The plane
was equipped with retractable undercarriage for landing.
