China - March 3-12.
2007 As part of my sabbatical project, I had the privilege of performing and teaching in China. I first traveled to Hangzhou and performed at Zhejiang University. I then traveled to Shanghai and performed and taught at the Shanghai Conservatory High School. From Shanghai, I flew to Beijing and then was driven to Nankai University in Tianjin. From Tianjin, I was driven back to Beijing where I spent a remarkable day absorbing Chinese culture. From Beijing, I then flew to Seoul where I performed and taught for the next two weeks. |
