Final Four Predictions

OK, so my team crashed and burned.
I admit, that I have quite a bit of UK bias. However, nobody was playing better than Kentucky coming into the tournament. The Florida A&M game was alarming, however. Kentucky didn't show their true game. In addition to not half playing, they ran up and down the court like Olympic sprinters. Being the thin benched team that they are, this drained them for the game against UAB. The Blazers took full advantage, but I digress. Good luck to UAB for the rest of the way.

Current Sweet Sixteen Matchups
East (East Rutherford)
St. Joe's vs Wake Forest
Pitt vs Oklahoma St

South (Atlanta)
Duke vs Illinois
Texas vs Xavier

Midwest (St. Louis)
UAB vs Kansas
Georgia Tech vs Nevada

West (Phoenix)
Alabama vs Syracuse
Vanderbilt vs UConn

Wake over St Joes, big.
Oklahoma in a squeaker over Pittsburgh.
Illinois over Duke by a larger margin than expected.
Texas over Xavier in a close one.
UAB over Kansas in a tight one.
Nevada over Georgia Tech in the best game of the tournament
Alabama over Syracuse in a "shocker".
UConn bashes Vanderbilt
Oklahoma St over Wake Forest to go to the FF.
Illinois defeats Texas in a close one.
Nevada over a mentally tired UAB team.
UConn over Alabama in a runaway.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. *wink*

Sweet Sixteen Predictions

March 13th, 2004
Well, it's finally here. The NCAA tournament begins Tuesday night on ESPN when Lehigh meets FAMU. The winner of that game will face the tournament's top seed, Kentucky. No number 16 seed has ever beaten a one seed, and I don't believe that will take place Friday, in this game either.

Well, moving along, I am going to go through the brackets and pick my Sweet 16. If you disagree with my picks, just drop me a line in my email, or leave it in the guestbook. Here goes!

East (East Rutherford)
St. Joe's vs Wake Forest
Wisconsin vs Oklahoma St

South (Atlanta)
Duke vs Cincinnati
North Carolina vs Mississippi St.

Midwest (St. Louis)
Kentucky vs Kansas
Utah vs Michigan St.

West (Phoenix)
Alabama vs Syracuse
Vanderbilt vs UConn
