"Tourists don't know where they've been.
Travellers don't know where they're going."

-Paul Theroux

It is an arrogant belief to think that we know everything we see.  There is very little that we actually see during our time, and there is far less which we understand.  However, the more places you see and people you meet, the more you know about yourself, and where you come from. Such is the definition of experience.  Travel is not just a passtime, or a luxury.  Travelling and exploring are what it means to be human.  Whether it be travelling downtown on the subway to the dentist and seeing a billboard for the first time, or walking down an alley in Khatmandu and hearing an instrument you've never heard before - travelling is a progression of the human experience, and its practice is as important as the different places you will see.  This is kind of a "Headspace Space"  -  entries from some of my travelling journals - or, snapshots of a travelling frame of mind.
