Asa Reid served in B Troop 1st Sqdn. 14th Armored Cav. Regt.  He was the 3rd Brigade CSM Command Sergeant Major 2nd Armor Division Fort Hood Tx. prior to Serving in Vietnam with the 4th Infantry Div. 1st Sqdn 10th Cav. 1969-1970. as the Sqdn. Command Sergeant Major, CSM-E9.
He retired Aug.1970 and settled down in Hsv. Al. with his Wife Frieda and 3 Children .
