Robert M. Hodges was in the Army for 2 years. He had his Constabulary training in Tyler Texas at Ft. Fannin in 1945.
In 1946 he was sent to Austria and was stationed in the town of Linz. He was in the 24th Constabulary Troop D. There were 150 men and 5 officers. His Commander was Commander Brooks. They stayed in the town of Edelsburg is SS Barracks. He was there 1 year. His job was guarding the border between the Russian and American Zone.
 
He remembers 3 men who were there with him and would like to get in contact again. Their names are Taylor, Murray, and Sabatino. He doesn't remember first names. The picture I have attached was taken in 1946 in his uniform in the town of Bad Schallenbach, Austria.

Robert is originally from Illinois and now living in Florida married to Dorothy (deceased) 54 years and has 5 children, 10 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
