The "Mad" Madison: USS Madison DD425

I joined the Navy in August 1942 and went to boot camp at Newport, RI. I was aboard USS Madison DD425 from Jan. 1943 to decommissioning. My Rate was Sonarman 2/c. After leaving Madison, I was transferred to the USS Stormes DD780. Please see below information regarding the life and times aboard USS Madison during WW2.
