US 106 was an original 1926 route; it was decommissioned in 1973.
The west end was on today's PA hwy. 706 at US 6 in Wyalusing PA:

Old US 106 is now designated as PA hwy. 706; its terminus at US 6
is at the same location as the historic western terminus of US
106.
It's kind of hard to pinpoint he east end of US 106: was it at the
the PA/NY state line? Or did it extend to downtown Narrowsburg? Or
did it extend slightly east of Narrowsburg to the junction with NY
hwy. 97? For what it's worth, I have a 1959 Gousha road atlas, drawn
at a level of detail and accuracy that puts today's atlases to shame.
It explicitly shows US 106 crossing the Delaware and ending in
downtown Narrowsburg (but not extending to NY 97). Hard to say
whether that's accurate - but if it is, then the photo below shows
that location:

This is heading east on NY hwy. 52 in Narrowsburg. Just behind the
camera, at the PA/NY state line (which is formed by the channel of
the Delaware River), PA hwy. 652 (old US 106) becomes NY hwy. 52.
Upon landing on the NY shore, you're in downtown Narrowsburg, and
there's a fork in the road: to the right is Main Street, while NY 52
is routed left towards NY 97. My atlas seems to indicate that this is
where US 106 ended. If you have more info, please
let me know!
