US 20 has an alternate route in New York; the photo below was taken at the
west terminus on Big Tree Road, just south of Lackawanna NY:

That's at the intersection with Southwestern Boulevard (US 20).
US 20 also has an alternate route in Ohio; the photos below are from its east
terminus in Maumee (outside Toledo):

There, US 20 is on Conant Street, and Alt US 20 (usually signed "US 20A" here)
splits off on Illinois Avenue.
The west end of Ohio's Alt US 20 is near the town of Pioneer, in the northwest
corner of the state. In the photo below, we're heading due west, approaching
the west end of Alt US 20:

The road is aligned with mainline US 20 west of here; you can see the headlights
of a car that was on eastbound US 20 but exited to eastbound Alt 20. Westbound
Alt 20 traffic has to veer to the right ahead, where it ends at a T-junction
with US 20:
