Students for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (SETA) at the University of South Florida (USF) is an animal rights group.  Our primary goal is to educate the public about the abuses of animals.  Our secondary goal is to promote veganism so that the earth, the animals and humans all benefit.
We're always on the lookout for students who are dedicated and compassionate.  Non-students are also welcome.  Bring your friends!
Meetings are held at the Marshall Center.  For an up-to-date schedule of meetings, please click on the Florida Voices for Animals link, then click on Events Calendar.

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER
Animals have a right to peaceful coexistence on this earth without our manipulation.  Most animal abuse is the result of greed. e.g. circuses profit from animal abuse and slavery; zoos profit from exploitation of animals and in no way educate the public about the wildlife in their natural habitat.
Animal abuse also occurs simply because of ignorance and meanness.  Cruelty to a sentient being just to exert one's power over it is absolutely unacceptable. e.g. the beating of two llamas with golf clubs by two teenagers resulted in one llama dead and the other losing an eye and massive head injuries.
We want you to join our family of compassionate students in the quest to speak up for animals who have no voice. YOU can make a difference!
