Words From the Commanding Officer
		The Naval Sea Cadet Corps guides young men and women, between the ages of 11-17, through a program that develops interest and skill in basic seamanship and its naval adaptations, while they learn the value of patriotism, courage, self-reliance, teamwork, and accountability. Membership in the two programs allows pre-teenagers and teenagers to sample some military life with no obligation to join any branch of the armed forces. This opportunity affords equal participation to all young Americans, regardless of race, color, religion, or sex. -LCDR Anthony J. White
