Women Abused
Inhumanely Mistreated
In the US Postal Service

Justice...
Are you here?
I wait for you...
Justice...
Are you here?
I arrived to be that
Daughter
Sister
Friend
And Mother

To do my God's will
That He would be pleased in His child
And He gave me children of my own
That they should be pleased in Him

To give them all I did not have
I took this job with the US Postal Service
Where I sought to better my children's lives
The Post Office sought to crush my soul

Its managers saw me as their fringe benefit
A woman to toy
One to satisfy their sexual pleasures
To paw, and utter words of lust

O' Justice, I said, "no...
I am only here to raise my children."
And retaliation unfolded
I was pushed out of the workplace

Sent to a psychiatric fitness for duty
Where they would pay doctors to say
I was mad... insane...
To resist the exploitation of my body..
My dignity...
the stripping of my own soul.

I was mocked, humiliated
By those so wealthy in power
I used their laws...
And received further crushing of my spirit
O' Justice where are you?..

Homeless, my children were left with nothing
It crushed my soul
I lay awake at night
Wondering how not to wake up
And face another day of Injustice
Death beckoned me to come forward

I thought of my children
Who were the main reason I took this job
And I would not teach them
That their purpose in this journey
Was to give up

O' Justice where are you?
I am not alone
There are so many others going through this
When will you arrive?

Sweet Mystery of Justice
Reveal thy Face to all
We sought you in their laws
Show Your law
O' Great Justice arrive...
