I am all for saluting the hero's of the world... Mother Teresa, Christopher Reeve, Einstein, Rembrant, firemen/women and police of 9/11.. basically anyone who has had some major impact on the world either mentally, physically or scientificly. (and im sure there are more, but im not here to praise the good ppl today) Im here because AGAIN, this stupid radio station out here where i live haas their "Hero's of the day" and 'normally' it's about some soldier in Iraq (because that is really who they wanted to praise.. ) I dont consider anyone who is just doing their job a "hero", now if 4 soldiers broke into a building and rescued a POW or something, then yes i would consider then a hero.. I can even say anyone who has died defending a love one (soldier or not) a hero to the people they defended.. But this was NOT the case at all...
Ok, here is the 'hero' of the day one day... This lady writes into the station wanting to have her husband as the 'hero of the day' (in the trash town she was from, i think she miss understood when was said and thought they said ZERO of the day.. cuz he was) But anyway...
Her story... Her <bonehead> husband was outside cutting down a tree in their yard <and had NO CLUE how to cut a tree down btw> and the tree fell the OPPOSITE direction he was hoping it would fall. <I rest my case... BONER... everyone knows you cut the branches off one side and make a notch in the trunk on the OTHER side (aka the side that the tree is suppose to fall) so the tree is heavier on the 1 side so it go that way> Anyway, if he wasnt already an idiot, the retard had his little girl in the yard WITH HIM while he was cutting a tree down he had no clue how to anyway, and it was going to hit the girl.. (ummm why wasnt she in the <trailer> HOUSE). Well, he jumped towards the girl, got her out of the way in time (thankfully) but the tree him him, and broke the retards leg in 3 places... (Way to go Gomer)
Now the story gets worse.. Since her idiot of a husband was the ONLY sorce of income to the <trailer> house, and he was going to be laid up for (i think) 3 months, they had NO MONEY.. <but plenty of fire wood for the winter> So the community and church basically PAID all her bills and food and everything for 3 months, because the husband was an idiot <think he did it on purpose just to get a break.. get it? break...lol)
She wanted to nominate the ppl who helped her (but funny how not even 1 name came to mind, just "the people" but she could sure remember all the money they gave them) Now i ask you.. Hero or Zero? A hero is someone that does something unselfish for someone else in danger.. not PUTS someone in danger so they can get them out of it.. thats a ZERO!
So this is for all the ZERO's out there that have done some BONEHEAD stuff in your life! <retards>
