Im tired of seeing all these people out there who dont have a clue in life on how to do anything except what they have been taught in school (if they can even do that). Im tired of being the person people come to for advice on everything from home repairs to taxes to lawsuits. I dont even have a degree, and I can still remodel a house, from sheetrock to electrical and plumbing. There is a great invention (that thanks for Al Gore inventing it) called the internet. USE IT!! Im a network admin, not a chef, or a lawyer. Plus, just because it takes 5 seconds to fix your PC, why does everyone expect free labor? Lawyers dont do it, doctors dont. Why should we?
THEN we have the bible thumpers out there that hide behind the bible so much that they cant even see whats going on in the world. IF life gets to hard, they resort to some phrase, passage or 'book' for the answer. You might as well ask a 5 yr old what to do. First off, being religious is everyones right, but now why doesnt anyone realize that they are totally being lead in life by someone who died hundreds of years ago. Im talking about King James. All these people took a language that no one could speak or write anymore, and translated it into their language, which if there wasnt a word, they wold pick one close to it. Not to mention, when the bible was originally created, the average vocabulary was maybe 5000 words (or so) and today we have probably 25000 words in the english language. Plus you cant tell inflection, tone or the thoughts of the person writing the words. It would be different if it were on tape.
If we were to have a meteor hit earth or WW3, MAYBE .5% (thats 1/2 of 1% of the world) would be able to survive on their own, and live. I know if it happened, it would all for themselves. Im not going to pamper all these adults that have no idea whats going on. You were born with a brain. USE IT. Stop letting some 2000 yr old book tell you how to feel and think. There should not be religion in polotics, we are not all catholic/christian in the US, so why does the president have to always be christian?? Cuz the pope says so? Some 100 yr old man, who ppl think rotates the earth on his staff? He is a man that was given power, and thats all.
