Western Trucker Frequency Charts

help to ID local repeaters

This is a new website and as we progress, we hope to hear from all of you out there to keep us updated and current.

For all 2-Meter radio operators traveling in North America we publish, for online delivery only, field-tested VHF/FM, 2-M repeater frequency charts showing basic information for travelers for many repeaters within the United States and Canada.

Two-meter VHF, like broadcast TV, reaches out up to 70 miles in flat country.  Our frequency chart design, not a map, presents accessible field-tested repeaters, arranged in frequency order at significant locations in typical travel-flow sequence, usually separated by about 60 miles to avoid gross overlap.  These charts, with frequencies clustered by city or town, when laminated may be conveniently stored under the seat.  The highway traveler knows where he is; he needs local repeater information.
