| I'ts not hard to get ahead in Neopets, and it doesn't take any cheats to do it either, it just takes dedication and time. You can make a lot of money by having a shop but the key is to ensure you have reasonable prices, otherwise you won't sell anything. Don't go by the price it tells you when you click on it in your inventory, check the shop wizard and find the list with the letters starting the same as your username. For example the guild username starts with a "u" so in the shop wizard it's grouped in with others who have a username starting with "u" and some other letters too. There are several different lists and to be sure your pricing is accurate you'll likely need to reload the shop wizard several times to see "your" list. Use the money you win to buy things to stock your shop with. Donate items to the money tree, it can been cheap 1 NP items or actual NP, but donate and you'll find that your random events like finding codestones, faeries and paint brushes will increase! Keep your items safely tucked away, the nasty guys could come at any time and steal your items or turn them into a pile of sludge so just keep them in your safety deposit box or in your shop. If you see something in the auction or at the trading post, always check the price in the shop wizard before you buy so you'll be sure you're not being ripped off. Be aware of all the scammers out there who'll try and con you out of your hard earned neopoints! If you come across anyone suspicious, report them to neopets! Dice-a-roo is a great game if you don't mind losing some NP. If you get up to the green level you can win food, and selling it will easily cover any lost NP for playing the game (it's 5 NP per game). If you can make it to the yellow level you can win lottery tickets and food, and if you're lucky enough to get all the way to the silver level you can win lots of things, including the jackpot and faeries! You'll usually lose some NP playing the game, but if you stick with it and get some food or better out of it, you'll end up with more than you lost. Scratch cards! You buy them for 600 NP, and depending on which one you get from the kiosk, you can sell them for much more (or scratch them and win lots more!)
