ALLIES AND ENEMIES |
Riov Hvaid T'Mnaeha (riov=captain) Hvaid, of the house of Mnaeha, has been riov for 15 years. He is a well respected member of society, which is of utmost importance in the Rihannsu empire. Serving on the counsel for a number of years as a mediator for disputes between disagreeing parties to help save mnhei'sahe (face) he earned the respect and trust of the government. Because of this service, he is more inclined to view situations, and other cultures more objectively, making him an excellent candidate for negotiations in situations outside of the Romulan Empire. However, if war is to be the outcome, he is formidable, as his first loyalty is to the empire, as it should be for all in Rihannsu society. On a personal level, Hvaid is of an easy-going nature among his fellows. Loves exploration, whether it be in space, or strolling along the Korthre Cliffs in Mhiessan. Married for 32 years, he has a son, and 2 daughters, all in the military, and 2 grandchildren whom he enjoys seeing as often as is possible. He loves social gatherings as well as solitude, finding both to important aspects of maintaining understanding of ones own self. He was recently betrayed by the new Romulan Government and cast out into exile. The Odyssey dropped him off on starbase 24 to be taken to a Romulan Refuggee camp on an undisclosed world. |
Riov L'Tan Riov L'tan is one of the most ruthless and brilliant Romulan Captains, called Riov's in their native toungue. His Military record is quite impressive, if records are to be believed L'Tan has emerged victorious in battle after battle. During the Dominion War, he helped turn the tide in an ambush on Romulan forces on their way to Deep Space Nine. His ship was the only one to survive. After the Dominion War, L'Tan was one of few Romulan's choosen to helm the new Valdore class of Romulan ships. L'Tan was one of the first Romulan captain's to join forces with the Reman's in their recent bid to overthrow the Romulan Government, mainly because he hoped they would finally invade Federation space. L'Tan makes no secret of his hatred for the Federation. He would like nothing better than to finally get a chance to invade Federation space. Starfleet advises extreme caution when dealing with L'Tan |
