Captain Kathryn Janeway is captain of the starship Voyager. On a mission against the Maquis resistance Voyager and a Maquis ship were stranded 70,000 lightyears from home in the Delta Quadrant, forcing the two crews to come together. The Maquis were invited aboard Voyager, and Captain Janeway did her best to give them positions best suited to their talents. With her guidance, wisdom, and patience, the two crews were eventually able to merge as one.
