Apple Picking with Bonim by Simone Gore Fall '03 newsletter (1.1) On Sunday, September 7, 2003, the KSUSY exec board had the pleasure of a pastoral outing with the Bonim kids (grades K-2). We drove through rolling fields of corn and scenic groves of trees, until we reached Lariland farms. Together with the Bonim members and their parents, we got to pick pounds and pounds of crisp apples and bushels of raspberries. The Bonimers turned a lovely shade of red to match the fresh-picked fruit! This was an idyllic outing in the country that was not only fun, but yummy too. |
