We have received far too many enquiries from people who have not read the top of the page of the name we are researching. Many people have emailed us when nothing matches our family to theirs other than the surname, and have not only wasted time (I'm sure that you can appreciate how time-consuming responding to emails can be!), but at best received a generic answer (such as "No, we're sorry. There seems to be no connection of our family to yours."). [There are many online genealogy aids to be found.]
