The Great Algonquin Escape
Over the weekend of Friday, May 23rd to Sunday, May 25th, we went on vacation to Algonquin Park. We had a great time. The real reason was purely to see the resort we are planning to got to for our honeymoon.  I'll get to that in a bit, but right now, I'd like to show a few of the many photos we took while up in Algonquin Park.

We stayed at Mew Lake, located at Km 32 inside Algonquin Park, along Highway 60.  It is our biased opinion that we were at the best site, site number 113. Plenty of space on our site, lots of privacy, a decadent view of the lake, and far enough from the moose and black bears as to not pose a great danger to us while we slept.
Here are some pictures that we snapped off along the way to our camp site.

This is the view from Highway 60 in Huntsville. On the other side of the road, is the last Tim Horton's.

This little place is a Bed and Breakfast.  No kidding!  We thought about checking in...but thought that the Bear Trail Resort might be a little more our speed.
Once we got to the site, and unpacked, we shot these photos to capture just how big, and beautiful the site was:
