Monday, December 17th, 2001 Once again I've been SUPER busy. I swear Im either not busy at all or super busy. There's no middle ground for me! This was Dustin's last week here before moving to Great Lakes for boot camp so he had all these things he wanted to do before he went and there were things that needed to be done as well. Christmas shopping for one. We at least finished it so thats good. Corey was the last gift we got and now that we got it Dustin lost it! Luckily Im planning on cleaning the room (majorly) anyways so it should turn up. I'll actually be able to see the floor again by the time Im done! *gasp!* That's the only gift that needs to be wrapped. Kinda hard to wrap something you cant find. Maybe I'll just not wrap it at all and just hand it to Corey like he did with Dustin's gift. lol. Wrapping paper kills tree's anyways =P We went to Disneyland on Tuesday. It was allright. Dustin and I have been there so many times nothings new anymore. We went on a few rides then....wait I allready said this stuff o.O;; Moving on... Friday, Dustin and I went to California Adventure (right next door to Disneyland). We had a lot more fun there this time. Usually that park just sucks major ass but this time it was pretty darn cool. It was raining so there was, like, no one there. I dont mind the rain (I like rain ^_^) so I was happy. Dustin didnt seem to mind it either. Problem was, they were having some sort of power problem so nothing was working! Except the stores of course. Cant close those down! lol. We went to "Who Wants to be a Millionaire? Play it." since it was the only thing still open, twice, before the other rides started to work. It was cool though. Dustin and I tried to get in the hot seat but failed (of course =P). The whole place is set up just like the real show only it looks a bit smaller than the actual set for the network show. Everyone has a chance in the hot seat coz everyone has a key pad in front of them to answer the questions along with the person in the hot seat. Whoever answers the most correctly and in the fastest time gets to go up next. Dustin got in the top ten people once and I got in it twice. We didnt get higher than that though. ;_; Oh well..you only win a baseball hat and five pins at the thousand point mark. It'd be cool to be able to win the polo shirt they give for the 32,000 mark, though. The trip for two to New York would be awsome to win but that was for a million. No one we saw got past the 64,000 question. After we did the Millionaire thing twice we went to Soarin Over California then to the place where you can make your own animations and stuff. I forget the name of it. You get to draw these images and place them in this spinny-thingy and when you spin it, the images move from one to the other fast enough to look animated. There's also an area to see what Disney character you're most like (Im most like Ariel RIGHT ON! lol) and a place to do voice-overs for some Disney movie scenes. Before going to Soaring, we went to see this show called "blast" coz everyone at Millionaire was raving about it so we decided to check it out. D00d! That show was SO kick ass! It's like "Stomp" only with real instruments, basically. It has every kind of percussion and brass instrument you can think of. I guess I'll continue tomorrow. I need to go see Dustin in San Diego 9.9;; I'll explain later =D
