3.-Create yourself a Yahoo e-mail address< a (www.yahoo.com) that you can use from any computer with internet access in Cuba. Keep in touch with friends & family. Before you go learn how to use nicknames, create folders, reply and forward mail, or send to more than one addressee, etc.
4.-Make several copies of your passport and visas (if applicable): Keep each copy in a different place. You can give one to your travel mate,kep a copy on you, leave one at home, put another in your e-mail.
5.-Put all your important info. (reference numbers, phone numbers, addresses, airlines offices, etc) onto your Yahoo e-mail. If you have a scanner you can even put scanned copies of your important documents onto Yahoo e-mail. (Just compose the mail as normal and send it to yourself). If you lose your originals and your copies you can always retrieve them from your Yahoo e-mail.
6.-Pack your most comfortable clothes.
Sew secret pockets into the inside or every pair of pants you are taking.Sew secrets pockets (passport size) more comfy than moneybelts.
7.-Break in new shoes.
8.-Make photocopies of city maps from Moon or Lonely Planet guide: easier to take into town than the whole book.
