Raul and Magaly, both retired teachers, are a very friendly couple.
He speaks a very good english, so you don't have to be afraid getting lost without spanish knowledge.
Magaly is a great cook and I realy enjoyed the time in their home.
Getting breakfast at their balcony looking down to the Malecon as well as discussions over what happened to Fidel in whatever country during his last journey.
Furthermore he can give you nearly every information about Cuba and Habana in particular.
Where to eat, where to dance, which placed to avoid.
Without Raul I wouldn't have found my way to University on my first studying day.
It's worth every minute you spend with them. Especially after learning spanish for a while and therefore being able to talk with Magaly as well, the both became like a second family to me.
