The Purpose of the Virtual Nurses' Memorial is memorializing those Nurses who have died while in-the-line-of-providing nursing care, i.e. on the job. Examples include: by accident, e.g. medical transport crashes; acts of patients/others, e.g.death by assault; contracted disease; or the like.
Please supply the following information using Circumstance of Death of those already listed as an example of format:
- Name of the deceased
- City, state, country of residence and where death occurred.
- Date of death
- Circumstances of death
- Name of newspaper/publication or its URL if available for reference
- Other material that can verify the death/circumstances
- Brief background information, i.e. age, specialty, years of nursing, survived by, and the like.
