On Sunday the 16 August 1998
I went to the 1998 Pro-Wrestlers reunion. I was lucky enough to
receive an invitation from Wayne (Bill) Bridges to the after he
was shown a copy of the Steve Veidor site.
I arrived at the pub about 13.00
and could not believe how many of the old greats were there. Mick
McManus, Jackie Pallo, Prince Kumali, Bobby Barnes, Pat Roach,
Brian Maxine, Mark Rocco - too many to list here!
There was a great atmosphere.
Everyone swapping stories and catching up with old friends.
After a short while the man himself
walked in!
The group photo session over
- they all returned to the pub and Bill introduced me Steve and
his lovely wife.
We chatted for a few minutes
- I think he liked the web site - and toook some pictures.
I felt like a kid meeting his
hero!
I had a really great day and
would like to thank Bill Bridges for the invitation and thank
Steve for sparing me some time.
