VEILS OF JUSTICE

Dedicated to Victims of Raids, Injustice
And Wrongful Convictions

PICTURE THIS:
You are Mr. or Mrs. Average Citizen. You are a hard working family. You coach your son’s Soccer Team. You volunteer one day a week at a Children’s Hospital. You teach your children to respect the law and to abide by it. Trust it. After all, it is there to protect all citizens. You are considered a respectable member of your community.

On a particular night, as you and your family sleep peacefully, you are awakened by a loud crash. Your heart pounds, as you fear your home has been invaded. You hear your child cry out in fear, and now all you want to do is get to this child and protect him. Before you can even rise from your bed, the door is kicked in and you see in the shadows several men dressed in dark, hooded clothing with large weapons aimed at you. They are shouting something, but you can’t understand as you are engulfed in fear and all you want to do is get to your child. You then hear the sound of gunfire.

You are not alone. (
Click here and see) You have just been the latest victim of The War on Drugs. This is one of their routine raids. They do this all the time, with so many casualties it would seem that the American Public would protest. But they don’t. Why? Because they have been told so much about the evils of drugs that all they know is that substance abuse is a crime, and if your home has been invaded, there was obviously a reason.

Publicity on these raids are usually not in the headlines. There is a reason for this: To make it less noticeable. But it has become very noticeable to you, because now you are involved. Before the incident, this War on Drugs seemed like a good thing, but that was before you were aware that it is not the drug lords you should fear. Nor is it the heroin addict down the street. You probably were not even aware that just being suspected or mistaken as a drug abuser or dealer was a crime that is punishable by death. Yes DEATH. The gunfire you heard back at your home that night was a fatal wound to a member of your family, who upon seeing these fearsome figures kicking down the door, tried to escape through a window, not even aware that this was a drug raid and these were “specially” trained agents, so specially trained that they were raiding your home instead of your neighbor’s home. Seems they read the address wrong. And now you want justice for the wrongful death of your family member, and you want the officer who killed this one prosecuted. It is not likely you will win, but it is very likely the officer will receive a firm slap on his hand, and possibly a medal for his bravery sometime down the line, as in the case of the agent who shot 13-year old
Sammy Weaver, a small-framed boy who was running away from an agent in the woods who had just shot his dog. Or the agent who then shot Sammy’s mother, Vicky, as she stood unarmed in the doorway of her home, holding her infant daughter. This was not a drug raid, but it WAS a government raid. All this for the crime Randy Weaver committed called “failure to appear” in court. For this he loses his wife and only son in a violent and cold-blooded murderous rampage by “highly skilled” federal agents. Skilled at what….killing women and children?

And what is up with all the harsh prison sentences in recent years for non-violent crimes? Seems true criminals such as child molesters receive lighter and lighter sentences while someone who merely abuses his or her own body will serve longer and longer terms. Money is the answer…..check the stock market for the going rate of warehousing human beings these days. It is called the Prison Industrial Complex. The US has the highest incarceration rate in the world. It has little to do with real crime. Crime is being created as you read this. Children are being
tried as adults, sometimes sentenced to death.

The ever increasing
ABUSE OF POWER merits some attention as well. Have you noticed how many “peace” officers who are involved in shooting unarmed and innocent people like to use the excuse “the gun just went off”? How do highly trained individuals have so much trouble handling their own guns? Guns do not accidentally go off, especially when it is a “professional” handling the weapon. In the case of Gary Groves, who was recently shot between the eyes from a distance of about 12 inches away during a traffic stop, the officer at first claimed Mr. Groves had shot himself. His story changed to “the gun just went off” after witnesses came forward. What will be the punishment for this officer? NOT A DAMN THING. He knew he could get away with it, and he did, because every moment of every day there is a cop out there who knows that all he has to say is “there was just cause” or “it just went off”, and the system buys it. There are some good cops out there somewhere, but they are quickly becoming extinct.

ABUSE OF POWER in the courts can result in case after case of innocent convictions. Words are twisted. Evidence is “lost”. Informants hired by cops LIE in order to gain their own freedom, and often prosper financial gain in the process. Click here to see the ever increasing list of Prisoners who do not belong in prison, and are only there because of the serious breach of justice that is becoming so common in the USA, Land of the Free, but only if you have enough money to buy freedom.
