National Team Birth For Opus Rider Magalie Boulay
Thanks to her fine performances at the Tour de Montreal, Opus rider Magalie Boulay has been named to a National team squad that will compete in the 5 Stage Tour de Drome later this month. Opus and the team sponsors have been a key to Magalie's success.
Boulay was surprised with the invite to France and credits her involvement with the Opus Team as the key to her invite: "It's more a developping project so I think it will be great and hopefully I'll have the chance to learn as much as in the Tour du Grand Montreal. By the way, I think that'd it's mostly because of my great performances there that my name came out... so, once again, thanks for giving me the chance to take the start."
Magalie's birth on the National Team fulfills an important goal for Opus - to get riders to the "next level". The support that Opus and the sponsors (Outdoor Gear Canada, Columbia Sportswear, Minoura and Rudy Project USA) have provided has helped Magalie to compete at a higher level and catch the eye of the National Team Coaches. Without the Trade Team invite we received to compete in Montreal, Magalie would not have earned this important step toward her future success.
Good luck in France Mag !!!
