VEN Vampire Ball 2 News and Updates

August 25th, 2007 @ The Kathedral

Latest News:
VEN would like to welcome DJ Th'Elf to the line-up. VEN has had the pleasure of working with Th'Elf at the previous V Ball event and we are thrilled that hes chosen to work with us again!  Also VEN welcomes Manic Vanity as our event photographer for the night!

After rave revues, we are proud to welcome
PsiVamp back to Toronto from his home in Atlanta, Georgia for his Second VEN Vampire Ball. His unique blend of industrial and techno mixed with his amazing stage presence is something you will not want to miss.
We are also pleased to annouce this will be
The Raygun Girls, from New York, second Canadian show this year! If you missed the first show at The Metal Bar this is a great chance to catch this great rock/metal band live on stage.
We are thrilled to have Toronto gothic rock band,
Adams God, join us with their mix of energetic and haunting melodies.
Last but not least as of June Toronto's own surf band,
The Von Drats have also joined the line-up completing our great and diverse mix of bands both local and over the border.

Although this is an incredible line-up of bands, this is by far not the only entertainment for the evening, V
EN is beyond excited to announce that Torontos own Mysterion the first Canadian Doctor of Mentalism, aka the Mind Reader, will be MCing and no doubt awing the crowd throughout the night. If you have not yet had the chance to see this charismatic magician at work now is your chance. Come and mingle amoungst the great music and the vibrant energy.

If thats not enough to peak your curiousity and bring you out, then certainly the door prizes and raffle will help! Be sure to check out our
sponsors page, there is a little something for everyone..

Thanks to our sponsors, the response has been overwhelming and its been a pleasure to work with all of you. I can not express how thankful and appreciative I am for the generosity shown to VEN.

VEN's Mission Statement

V
EN stands for Vampire Entertainment Network. We have been in existance since August of 2003 begining with the Yahoo Group.
It all started when a good friend, SEETHER, started Covet Nation and I realized what a lack there was of places for vampire and goth to meet and network solely for the purpose of self-promotion without having to submit to a house or court. Covet was a wonderful ezine and a very important group and grew very large very fast with membership reaching the thousands.
However us vampires needed even more safe places to make connections. Whether or not we are succeeding I cant say but we will not stop trying to make a difference and offer a helping hand to those in our community and I am honored to have been compared to SEETHER in being a founder of a new form of vampiric society in past articles.
VEN is an open community and we welcomes models, photogrpahers, artists, bands, DJ's, other yahoo group owners and any other that seeks us out to use VEN to make the connections and friendships you need to excel in all areas of your life. In the past years we have grown from our original Yahoo! Group and now offer groups through several different websites as well as a VEN Forum and most notably VEN Radio on air 24/7. We look forward to continuing to move forward and offer more means and support in the years to come.
