| What is Paintball? |
| Paintball is a sport that involves "taggin" your opponents out with small balls of paint encased in a shell. The paintballs are bio-degradeable, and are easily cleaned off of cloths and people. Many scenarios can be played while playing paintball. Just think of paintball as a game of tag, but instead of tagging the person, you shoot them with a paintball. The two most common scerario games are CTF (Capture The Flag), and TE (Total Elimination). Paintball is a sport that is very adaptable. People can gain eliminations through outwitting/psycing out their opponents, or just plain ol' pysical prowess. Paintball installs many morals such as honesty, teamwork/co-operation, some survival skills, and at the same time is greatly enjoyable. Paintball guns, or markers as they are commonly called because they literally mark players with paint, range in price from $20 up to and well over $1200. Paintball is truly a sport thats in everyones price range. Also, paintbguns range from pump (one pump to one shot), to semi (one shot everytime you pull the trigger), to automatic (hold down the trigger, gun continues to fire). There are many fields all over the country. Chances are, there is at least one paintball field within an hour or two drive from you right now. |
