Preps - Honestly.. They try to be slutty at a young age, when there is literally NOTHING to show. They are usually ugly because of pounds, and pounds if make up. Gee.. If you wanna lose weight sooo bad, try laying off a few pounds of make up. You save money, time, weight. Heck, you'd probably look better too.
They wear tight jeans, which I don't see exactly why you would want like 50 pairs of ugly expensive jeans that look the same, and have the same purpose, "To show how sexy you really are." What bull. If you have to show your ass to everyone to get noticed, you're just pathetic. Have you ever actually taken the time to look at MSN nicknames or E-mails? "Horny devil" "Blonde angel" "Sexy Bitch" HONEST TO GOD! Most of these people are ugly. And are trying to look "Cool" infront of their friends.
Be who you are. And don't give this crap "But I am, I'm weird and kinky sometimes." Oh Really? What are you wearing? Tight jeans? what's in your disc man? Eminem and N'Sync? Wearing hours long of make up application? Go figure..
Ginos - This phenomenon ONLY exists because of a Italian depression. When Italy was in money troubles, people left to other countries (mainly Canada). Their families needed to save money for food, and essentials. So they wore older tighter clothing. Now, society, has made it one of the "Things to be." Yeah, they still save money. How you say? HONDA CIVICS! CRAPPY CHEAP UGLY CAR! If they don't have a civic (extremely rare case), then they are usually living off their parents money, or some odd reason. I hate their stupid "Italy's the best guys!" attitude.
Right now, in 2002-03. the parents came to Canada because of the depression in Italy. So, if Italy is SOOO great, and you love it. Why are you here and not there? Why did you leave when your country was in need?
Modern Love - Was once a word that meant alot. Once meant you cared for something/someone with undying desire and hope. Now, it is a word being abused by mostly everyone. I hate it when people will say "I love you" just to calm your soul, and does not even mean anything to the person that said it. Or how it's said 5 minutes after you meet someone. Or how people say "I love you, but I can't be with you." Love means you will go to the deeps of this earth's crust and fight for the one you love. I do not abuse, because I know the true meaning, I have felt it, and has change my psychological thinking for the better.
Please don't say something stupid before you go like "love you, bye." Love means more then that. I think that if you love the person, you wouldn't wait till the end to say it.
"What's In" / Skater and Wigger Hybrids (Canadians Mainly) - I have taken notice that alot of people, that dressed wiggerish have started skateboarding, dressing like a skaterboarder, etc. What the hell happened? When did being a skater all of a sudden become "The Thing To Be?" But yet, most still wear some of their Exco clothing, or still think "Some rap is still good." It is the stupidest thing I've ever seen, trying to look like your "In Style," can't decide skater or wigger.
I saw, Swollen Members wear DC clothing. I'm no fan of DC, but I know it's skater. Why the hell is a rap group wearing skater cloths? I don't know, trying to get more fans? You go figure..
Preps, YES preps. Are now listening to skater, nu-metal(some) and rock music as well, it is no longer just pop. But they still hold on to their stupid ignorant clothings trends. Oh sure, you can buy one of those cheap studded bracelets from spencers to look all "rebelious" (which I know are cheap, because I only get good quality AMERICAN bracelets).
Modern Punk - Before I start, I'd like to say, there are NO mainstream punk bands. Blink 182, Sum 41, Simple plan, and etc ARE NOT PUNK. They are a form of pop with rock. REAL punk is Sex pistols, Guns And Roses, Bad Religion, Rancid, etc. Mostly the old stuff is punk. If you think you're a punk because you skate. Don't make me laugh, punks have weird colored mohawks, and leather clothing with chains. They use to wear t-shirts when "back in the day" it was rebellious, now it's a comon piece of clothing,
Avril Lavigne - She is the biggest poser of all. How dare they say she is rebellious. SHE IS WITH THEM. She was a country singer. But obviously that wouldn't get you no where nowadays. So she found this guy, that could help her be a star. But she had to "go punk" which she did in a flash. All they did was go shopping to Hot Topic. Then they found some no bodies (including Avril), and formed a "punk band." She didn't write ANYTHING. When they were recording, she had such stupid problems. She kept stopping in the middle of songs and having orgasms. And NO, I'm not making this up. I don't know how ANYONE can stand her. Please don't give me bull crap like "oh your just jealous because she's so hot, and your not. And she can sing so good." You NEED to she her without make up. And technology can do many things my friend. Yes, it can alter your voice. Including mine! believe it or not. She's no rebel, but 100% Canadian poser.
Pop - Can anything get anymore ignorant? Why don't you just go into the porno business, I'm sure you can get paid better than what you already get. Oh wait, I'm sorry for those pop stars that are in both.
Can they please stop writing such ignorant whore like lyrics with the over used phrases such as "baby" "babe" "botty" and etc. Not everything is all happy and can be solved with sex. I don't think there is one "pop" video nowadays without exposure of the female body. Honestly.. Is there really a need to do so? They have sunk so low as to publize their bodies for some profit. I think they should be arrested under law. It's like letting a 5 year old into a free strip bar.

Rap - I know MANY people that are all like "ah man, I'm too high right now." BULLSHIT, they' never smoked in their entire lives. It seems like smoking weed is the "cool" thing to do. Why you say? Gee.. When mainstream "rap artists" talk about dealing their drugs, and pimping their whore. I think it's stupidly obvious. |
