Just a bit about our history.........
Once we settled in our home and started a family (Benny Jr), Benny felt it was time for a family pet. In 1996 we brought home our first Boxer, a plainly marked brindle male named Tremor. For a companion we purchased a flashy fawn girl named Diamond. In 1998 Dinah was speaking with a friend from work who had a flashy brindle marked female named Sasha. They were interested in breeding her and were looking for a quality male.
Together we decided to breed Sasha and Tremor. Out of this litter we chose "Xena", D's Princess Warrior, to be our newest family member. Xena's mom had several Champions in her bloodline which made Benny very curious to research her pedigree and to learn more about the Boxer breed. Upon learning the Boxer breed could be approved upon, he made it a mission to carefully breed to correct Xena's conformation weaknesses.
In 1999 we found the perfect male and Xena was bred. She produced a litter of 6 wonderful pups from which we kept "Ruby", Ventura's Walk In The Clouds. It is our hope she be our new foundation. We are very excited as we enter the Boxer show ring and have been bit by that famous show bug pretty hard.
Through the shows we have met and are making many good friends. We are eternally grateful to those that took the time to point us in the right direction and to those that continue to share their knowledge. We have gotten our feet wet in the show ring with our Ruby and now about to start a grand adventure with the addition of "JJ" who quickly became, Ch PawPrint Mirror Image at Ventura. It was a brave act to look at a breeder so far away in California. But JJ's earlier puppy photos just grabbed us. He had exactly what we wanted in a show male. Benny is eagerly soaking up everything our friends can share about this wonderful Boxer world. Temperament, health and conformation are our main priorities. The Boxer has truly captured our hearts. Please feel free to drop us a line about your own Boxers, either pet or show. Boxer is our favorite subject.
Of course our history is a continuing story. Ruby made us proud with multiple Reserve and Winners Bitch wins. She will be shown as she continues to mature and is doing quite well. JJ took the ring by storm. He finished at 13 months old with 3 Majors and a BEST OF BREED!
**News Flash** JJ's first weekend out as a special and he earns his second Best of Breed win over 3 specials. Way to go JJ!!!!
