Caabudwaaq is one of the second largest city in Galgaduud region. The city borders the Republic of Ethiopia to the Northwest, Dhusamareeb city to the South, Galkacyo city to the North and Togdheer region to NorthEast. The City lies approximately between latitude 0 degrees 15'N and 1.5 degrees 1'S and Longitudes 2 degrees 10'E and 12 degrees 7'E. The city covers a total area of about 5,01 sq.km, Caabudwaaq's population estimated at 200,000.
