What can we say about this concert? You get the very best of the Who - a skeleton suit that can berely fit... white, panty-line less jump suit topped off with an SG Gibson... Slick wearing a dog tag... and the chest is free and fringed as ever (not too much can be said about the chest though.) Getting right down to it, the concert is pretty awesome. If you like "Tommy" (and you'd better) a good Germany sized portion of the rock opera are included in this nice little package. The CD of the concert is pretty good, but there are two things it lacks: the "water" tangent and the whole visual "I can see them on stage, look at them go" thing. We rate this concert a 4 and 1/2. If you have the means, buy it. If you don't have the means, pilfer it... because you need it. |
