It’s a whole two hours and 15 some minutes of Tommy and a few other songs, equally as great, at the end. Some pretty crazy guest stars on this concert. Phil Collins appearing on several occasions as Uncle Ernie. Billy Idol, Elton John, Patti LaBelle, and Steve Winwood also grace the stage with their frightening presence. Mumbley Joe strikes again with his failure to acknowledge his cue during Sally Simpson. It happens… what can you say. It’s Roger. All in good fun, though… they still do well! I think the winner in this loser competition would be the shiny baldness… not quite shiny, or nearly as bald as she would later become, but still there. Although they finish Tommy with quite the stage call, he whole lot of them up there, they are only getting warmed up as Roger says. Indeed they are. They return a short while later to perform a line of kick ass songs including a John song… Boris! What a spider. When all is said that is done, a Creepy Crawly 4 goes out to this one. A nice collection. Quite worth and search for this one. It keeps you on your toes. After all, seats are made for standing on! |
