First, go down to store like clairs and buy white opera gloves. (when I went they only had silver, so if thats all they have wait a week, and they will get some in) those should cost around 15 dollars depending on the quality. mine were about $20. Then I went down to a craft store (crafts canada, etc.) and I bought some fabric markers-one red, and two black, because I will be needing black thoughout the costume. and finally, I bought a boa (black and white) and then some extra feathers (red) and this should be all that you need.

You will want to cut the fingers out first. some cats gloves cut out at the wrist and some also are attached by going around one finger. but the easy way would be to just the fingers out. after that, I colored them. I cross hatched one layer of red, and then I went over with black. you will want to start out dark at the bottom, then slowly go thiner at the top. Now you will want to hem them. If you dont, they WILL fray.  next I put the fluff on the top. i would just use short bits of yarn (to match the tail) or a boa. thats what I am doing. its really easy.  and use tacky glue to put it on. some may perfer other ways like sewing them on,  I just find this way the easyist. these golves are fragile, while you are puting them on because you are streaching the glue, but they are finbe once you have them on. my gloves took me about half an hour to make.

Bomb: one is red at the top, then white at the bottom, the other is black at the bottom and white at the top. Demeter: they are white and yellow, with a tad bit of orange at the bottom. Grizzabella: hers are a little more complicated. they are full gloves (meaning they cover all of her fingers) with nails at the end. becides they stop at wrists because her jacket covers them. they should look ratted and old. Rumpleteazer (from her and Jerries song): they should be dark goldie-yellow, black, and dark orange stripes. with dark fluff at the end. they go up a bit past her elbows. Rum Tum Tugger: well, there not really gloves. but he has black leather biker gloves.  they have either velcro or a buckel at the top to keep them together. your can choose.  misto: His are kinda complicated. the extend under his jacket. they are black with white palms . I'm not sure if they have nails or not.
